At the turn of the year, we are pleased to see ourselves featured in an article in the Guardian, which describes how 2018 is shaping up to be the year that rum catches up with gin to be the next ‘big thing’. This is of course something that we have known for some time; as the only distiller in England to make our rum from scratch, we are naturally very excited about the year ahead!
If you haven’t already sampled any of our superb rum, you currently have two to choose from: our original Old Salt Rum, featuring flavours of raisins & sultanas, cracked caramel, vanilla and treacle, and the mouth-wateringly delicious Old English Spiced Rum, infused with cherries, red hibiscus flowers and citrus zests. Both are made the proper old fashioned way; with molasses, rather than sugar cane syrup, which requires more skill to make but results in a more authentic and truly delicious sip!
